How GenAIze Technologies uses AI
We help companies be open about their use of AI, so we start with our own. This page explains where AI is and isn't involved in what you see here, and our role under the EU AI Act.
The AI Act Checker is not an AI system
In our assessment, the checker is not an AI system within the meaning of Art. 3(1) AI Act. It is a deterministic engine that executes fixed decision rules people wrote and that are published on our methodology page: the same answers always produce the same result. It does not learn from data and does not derive outputs beyond those rules (see recital 12 of the AI Act and the Commission guidelines on the AI system definition of February 2025). Even if it were classified differently, it would not be a high-risk use. Every step of a result shows the article it applies.
No AI talks to you or decides about you
- There is no chatbot on this website.
- No AI system makes or supports decisions about visitors, customers or applicants.
- We use no tracking or profiling.
Where we use AI
We use general-purpose AI assistants, including Anthropic's Claude, to help draft content (articles, course lessons, templates) and to help write the code of this website. Under the AI Act, this makes us a deployer of those tools (Art. 3(4)).
AI-assisted content is never published unchecked. Before publication, our team reviews it, and legal content is cross-checked against our source dataset, which cites the Regulation and the AI Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744) article by article. Every legal statement is checked against the text of the Regulation as published in the Official Journal, German implementing law and official Commission guidance.
What we do as a deployer
- AI literacy (Art. 4): everyone working on GenAIze Technologies content is trained on the AI Act and on the limits of generative AI. Our managing director holds the A4Q AI Compliance certificate (a private personnel certification of A4Q, issued by GASQ Service GmbH; certificate no. 8548357428, valid until 5 August 2028).
- Prohibited practices (Art. 5): we use none.
- Transparency (Art. 50): we publish no deepfakes. Text on matters of public interest is reviewed by a person who takes editorial responsibility, as described in our imprint.
- Data: we do not enter customers' personal data into AI assistants.
Future product features
If we add AI features to the GenAIze Technologies product, such as an assistant that answers questions about the AI Act, we will label them clearly, tell you when you are interacting with AI (Art. 50(1)), and update this page before they go live.
